Last November I took myself to 'Paris in the South Pacific' - Noumea. Now I've been to so many tropical islands that i'm normally sick of being sold happy little natives sitting under a tree, eating raw fruits and berries and knocking 2 half coconuts together to pretend it's 'music' as 'Civiliation and Culture'! Get over it, they haven't invented writing, cant remember further back than 2 generations and haven't invented the wheel yet! But Noumea is French Colonial culture, 2.5 hours from Oz. Just south of Noumea are the beaches of Baie de Citrons and Anse Vata ... and here is culture ...
