The Bellingham World Naked Bike Ride is hours of naked fun in the sun! The ride begins at a bike shop behind a scuba diving shop, but before that is a paint party for any kind of body painting to allow people to "protest" but for most people it's light hearted fun and a way to be nude in public without being totally visible. There's a lot of college students that participate, and the gender mix is very even, but most of the ladies are too timid to be totally nude, and many of them wear thong panties, and many participants give off a strong vibe of being real hippies. Bellingham Washington is kind of a small town, but the naked bike ride is a big deal, and it has been estimated that about 300 people participate.
