Rose Through The Shutter - One thing that is always synonymous with the tropics for me are plantation shutters. I just love the way they look and their pure functionality. One thing that I never really thought about is that they do not provide an enormous amount of privacy. This was brought home to me when Thorn returned to our room and mentioned that there was a group of gardeners hanging around right outside our window. As I had just had a shower and while completely naked applied lotion to my skin and then laid on the bed watching TV, I was a little worried. Embarrassed, I asked "just how much do you think they could have seen?" ... and Thorn said "you do something on the bed and I will take some pictures so you can make your own mind up if they could see anything". As you can see from these photos, there is very little doubt that, in Thorn's words, the gardeners had ample opportunity to study the Roses!
